This is your opportunity to be part of a category-defining company from the ground-up. Join the team defining the future of enterprise AI.

About the role

We believe that highly-curated in-person events are the best way to build conviction amongst enterprise buyers and to attract the best talent. We’re looking for a Global Events Lead to help build a strategy around this conviction, and lead a team to execute on it. . This is not a traditional events coordination role focused purely on logistics. This is a key strategic hire that owns how we use IRL moments to reach and move the audiences that matter. We want someone who understands how to create energy, attention, and memorable experiences that build brand, attract world-class talent, and generate real commercial impact.

You’ll lead our event strategy across conferences, private dinners, executive roundtables, hosted experiences, customer events, and field activations — helping establish Fundamental as one of the most recognizable and talked-about brands in AI.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and elevate how Fundamental shows up at industry events, from flagship conferences to intimate executive gatherings

  • Develop creative event concepts and experiences that attract the right audience and leave a lasting impression

  • Build and execute a scalable US events strategy aligned with broader marketing and company goals

  • Partner closely with leadership, marketing, sales, product marketing, and design to ensure every event ladders up to broader campaigns and pipeline objectives

  • Lead conference planning end-to-end, including sponsorship strategy, booth presence, speaking opportunities, side events, dinners, and customer activations

  • Create standout brand moments that differentiate Fundamental from traditional enterprise software companies

  • Manage all operational details across planning, vendors, production, logistics, onsite execution, and post-event follow-through

  • Develop repeatable playbooks for owned events, from private executive dinners and customer roundtables to larger branded experiences

  • Partner with external agencies, production teams, venues, and vendors to deliver world-class execution

  • Measure event and campaign performance, gather insights, and continuously improve our approach

  • Travel as needed to support key events, conferences, and customer experiences across the US and internationally

Must have

  • 10+ years of experience in B2B SaaS events, field marketing, experiential marketing, or related roles

  • Strong creative judgment with experience producing standout brand and event experiences

  • Ability to operate strategically while also being highly hands-on and execution-oriented

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail; you catch the things others miss

  • Strong operator who can manage multiple moving pieces without sacrificing quality

  • Clear point of view on what creates a world-class conference presence, from booth design to side events to the smallest attendee details

  • Deep understanding of what creates audience pull, energy, and memorable in-person experiences

  • Commercial mindset with an understanding of pipeline generation and business impact, not just event logistics

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with high ownership and ambiguity

  • Collaborative, low-ego, and able to work cross-functionally across teams and senior stakeholders

  • Excited to travel and represent Fundamental in the field

Nice to have

  • Experience running executive dinners, VIP experiences, or invite-only events

  • Experience in AI, infrastructure, developer tools, enterprise software, or data platforms

  • Strong network across the enterprise technology ecosystem

  • Experience scaling event programs from early-stage startup through rapid growth

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation with salary and equity

  • Comprehensive health coverage, including medical, dental, vision, and 401K

  • Fertility support, as well as paid parental leave for all new parents, inclusive of adoptive and surrogate journeys

  • Relocation support for employees moving to join the team in one of our office locations

  • A mission-driven, low-ego culture that values diversity of thought, ownership, and bias toward action
